52 fridays 32 | 52 shallow depth of field

it's no secret...given the choice, i will always always choose to shoot wide open.  i love bokeh and blurred backgrounds.

this week i took a shot of the only plant we haven't killed...

love this broad theme and can't wait to see what the other ladies came up with for this week.  you too, right?  first visit dana cubbage | modern lifestyle pet photographer  - love her shot!

i love this too, and I love this theme! I am also a fan of shooting wide open. and I do it to the point of it messing up some shots because one eye will be out of focus!

You are too funny, with the only plant you haven't killed. Some how with your nurturing personality I find that hard to believe. Great examples this week!

Hope - Now I know why we are friends - I can't keep a plant alive to save my life either. It's actually very sad.....but your photo is beautiful as always. Love the colors! We have a crepe myrtle but ours isn't in bloom yet or maybe I have successfully killed that plant too! :)
