project 26 | challenge 3 | 13 | morning light

i rarely get a chance to shoot in the mornings with work and homelife as priority, but when the opportunity to shoot miss tulsa outstanding teen, julianne, came along, i was super excited to give morning light a try.  wrong day for that!  it was crazy windy and cold out, and as it turns out, it was an overcast morning, but this gorgeous teen was a trooper! 

for her shoot, i teamed with imaging consultant and local makeup artist, elizabeth hughes of amaranth collection to style her shoot. inspite of the chill in the air and high winds, we had a great time.  julianne is a dancer so i put in hints that i'd love to do a dance concept shoot with her one day.

i hope to give morning light another attempt over the next several weeks - a bit earlier next time and fingers crossed for less wind and a bit of sunlight!
