52 fridays 03|52 warmth

we're at week 3 and this week's theme is warmth. the first thing that came to mind was to show how all that snow last week has quickly turned to much warmer and much more pleasant (in my opinion) weather. the sun is out and we are looking at temps in the upper 60s this weekend. however, i admittedly didn't have much time to shoot this week and once again, one of my three girls is here. i don't want  to  make this another three sisters blog, but the truth is they are my inspiration to learn more about photography.  i want their memories captured ... and ...well they are my only models :) 

below is my baby girl, nala.  she is oh so warm and cuddly like a teddy bear...and quite the charmer too.  she kills me with the eyes.  i can't stay mad at her for more than a sec.  this is more of a snapshot, but i processed it a bit warmer and decided it was a keeper :)  i don't yet know much about lighting, but i do know that the kitchen in our home provides the best natural light.  the sun was shining in this morning and you can see lots of light in these dreamy dark brown eyes.
