project 26 | challenge 1 | 13 | faceless portrait

this is our first challenge week for our project 26.  we have 13 carefully thought out themes that i am very excited about.  and...we know them advance...so why oh why oh why was i left shoooting last night right before i got my kiddos in bed...

this is what you get for faceless portrait when you wait til the last minute.  so not my vision that i had when the theme was suggested by delaware photographer, celeste jones...

but...i do think that these little footsies here are revealing of the girls personality.  nia is definitely more confident in "i am who i am"  upright feet and nala is more reserved, yet playful and i feel like i can kinda see that here...of course, i know them well though...

but this image below would probably be my favorite interpretation  (of my own) ever of a faceless portrait...

excited to see what my friend gail has this week.  check her out:  gail pomare | san jose, california lifestyle photographer.

Are those your two twins? Their feet are such different sizes?? I love the feet image, of course, but yes, I agree, that window shot is phenomenal!!! I do love how you can see their personalities, even in the way they hold their feet, though!

Ok are you feeding one twin and not the other....their feet are so different! Crazy, Hope! Always love your photos! That second one seems heavenly....the little bow in her hair just tucked under her bun...sweet!

yup, I see it too. A beautifully truth reflection of each girl. What a gift that is. And that last image is my favourite faceless portrait ever too!
